Contemporary newspaper accounts accompany the photos providing an in-depth study of the area, as experienced by those who lived there. GOOD jacket on a VERY GOOD book. Minor to moderate toning to the jacket, with light soiling, staining and foxing. Some scuffing. Several tears along the extremities and hinges, with a few chips and minor loss, and resulting in some creasing. Hint of fading and edgewear to the book. Small owner's address label and large gift inscription, in ink, on the first endpaper. Very Good/Good.
