Description: San Francisco, UMWA/Miners Strike Labor-Community Support Coalition. Unbound. no date, perhaps 1978. Single sheet, 8 ½ by 11 inches. Two columns, with the left being a photo depicting miners in cart like vehicles. A flier raising awareness for a February 24th rally (at Plumbers Hall in San Francisco) in support of coal miners, as well as raising awareness for the union. Presumably related to the Bituminous Coal Strike of 1977-78. While a contract was negotiated, it included unfavorable stipulations for the workers, including having to start paying for health care for the first time in 30 years. VERY GOOD condition. Light toning and wrinkling. Very Good .
