Debut of this underground newspaper adopting the ideals of the American Revolution in overthrowing tyranny and applying it to the US government circa 1970. The paper cites quotes from Benjamin Rush and other people active in the 1770's revolt against England, as well as cites the Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc. It also looks at historical examples of protest in the US. One page prints a proclamation from Native Americans occupying the island of Alcatraz, outlining their needs and desires for fair and equal treatment. Some news on present day events included. Little record of this paper could be found. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Moderate browning. Minor soiling and foxing. Minor chipping along the fore edge. Blue ink pen scribbles at the upper right corner of the front cover. Good .
