A few black and white illustrations. A newsletter issued by the United States Servicemen's Fund, an organization created to promote free speech in the US military. It organized events and exhibits in protest of the Vietnam War and supported many GI underground publications. This issue with an article the court-martial proceedings against 8 of released POWs, indicating that those against the war, were being held by the US military and were accused of misconduct while in a North Vietnamese prison camp. Another article looks at the case of Airman Frederick Stubbs, a Black soldier charged with fighting and sent to a military "reeducation camp." The article alleges that while there, he was framed for a fight, and now faces a court martial and hard labor, with the piece alluding to racism in the US Armed Forces. A short piece discusses the bombing of a bookstore by a member of a white supremacist group. The store had hosted a group of Black soldiers against the Vietnam War. GOOD+ condition. Horizontal and vertical fold creases present. Minor wrinkling. Light toning. Good .
