These chapters are followed by chapters giving the history of Native Americans, including Powhatan, Pontiac, Red Jacket, Little Turtle, Sitting Bull and others. By Edward S. Ellis, a prolific American author perhaps best known for his dime novels written for Beadle. GOOD condition. Moderate fading, with minor to moderate soiling, minor staining, resulting in the covers appearing slightly grubby. Heavy bumping, scuffing, and fraying to the cloth along the extremities, with some loss. Two small holes in the cloth at the upper spine. Interior hinges cracked and beginning to separate but holding. Minor toning and scattered soiling in the interior. Owner's names on the inside front cover and first endpaper. Good .
