Single issue of this newspaper formed by a faction of the staff of the long running left wing newspaper, the Guardian. Dissatisfied with the treatment of the staff, sexism and other issues, some members broke with the paper, forming the short-lived Liberated Guardian. This paper took a stronger revolutionary tone in its coverage of politics and social issues. This issue with a page devoted to Los Siete, their trial and attempts to gain their freedom; more arrests in New Haven, relating to the Black Panthers and legal issues faced by Bobby Seale; a page devoted to gay pride, etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Moderate toning and soiling. A few small creases and tears along the extremities. 1*6 in ink at the top of the front cover. Good .
