Small leaflet/letter from a member of the People's Revolutionary Army laid in. Single issue of a zine style underground publication, produced at UC Santa Cruz. The Loaded Collective appears to have been a group of students at the University of California, Santa Cruz, perhaps also affiliated with student socialist organizations on the same campus. This includes Barbara Zheutlin, Stephanie Graham, Jeff Snyder, Mike Fox, Mike Rotkin, Bruce Dancis, Lorna Hall, and Vicki Bolam, according to Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History archive. The newsletter tackled various radical and left-wing subjects, including antiwar, political and social issues. This issue with a focus on the Vietnam War, including a Viet Quiz; anti-war activities; a piece on the Vancouver Women's Conference; the psychological oppression of women and what to do about it, etc. The letter from the member of the People's Revolutionary Army states that they had just bombed (May 1st), the Bank of Amerika [sic] on Mission Street. This was done in solidarity with the Vietnamese people and American working people, according to the letter writer. GOOD condition. Uneven toning, minor wrinkling and soiling to the covers. Extremities curled, with light fraying and creasing. Lower corners of the last several pages creased over. Good .
