Single issue of this newspaper devoted to feminism and women's rights and issues. Formed in the early 1970s, the paper published until 1984. The paper covered local, national and international news related to women and the women's movement, focusing on stories ignored by larger papers. As Karen Hagberg, a local Rochester, New York activist stated about the paper, "We would go out and make the news then come back and report it!" (see outalliance website for previous history). This issue with a special section on the rapist culture in the United States (and elsewhere), discussing pornography and events/protests around this subject. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. General browning. A few small wrinkles and creases. Good .
