Single issue of this underground newspaper embracing radical, left wing and socialist causes (with a Marxist-Leninist bent). Originating as the Temple Free Press at Temple University it evolved from a college newspaper to a radical paper under the editorship of Bill Baggins. This issue with two pieces on protests in New Haven over the trial of Black Panther Party leader Bobby Seale; a short piece on an alleged "race riot" in Kensington, which, by the newspaper accounts, served as nothing but a dog whistle for white supremacists and violence prone police; several pieces on campus protests against the Vietnam War, etc. GOOD condition. Moderate toning to the paper. Horizontal fold crease present. Good .
