In Arcane Logos appears to have come about after dissension and mistreatment of staff of the Word (based on an introduction in another issue). While somewhat restrained in tone, the paper published pieces on black liberation, women's liberation/feminism and articles reprinted from other underground papers. This issue with two letters/editorials on Black student protesters at Southern University in New Orleans and the state repression they incurred and another on the Black scene, discussing the Black Liberation Flag and African-Americans unfaithful to the cause of Black liberation; the ROTC at Tulane, etc. Rear cover with a classically styled illustrated piece titled "From the book of the Motherfucker," being a piece created by the anarchist/left wing group Up Against the Wall/Motherfucker. GOOD condition. Moderate toning to the paper. Horizontal fold crease present. Upper right corner creased on the diagonal. Good .
