The Loaded Collective appears to have been a group of students at the University of California, Santa Cruz, perhaps also affiliated with student socialist organizations on the same campus. This includes Barbara Zheutlin, Stephanie Graham, Jeff Snyder, Mike Fox, Mike Rotkin, Bruce Dancis, Lorna Hall, and Vicki Bolam, according to Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History archive. The newsletter tackled various radical and left-wing subjects, including antiwar, political and social issues. This issue includes photos of a protest against the Laos invasion, as well as an article on the invasion; health care for migrant workers; student housing issues, etc. With a poem by Peter Davidson, "The Pleaders." GOOD condition. Uneven toning, minor wrinkling and soiling to the covers. Good .
