Pink paper on the exterior, presumably due to this being the Easter edition. A newsletter style piece issued for servicemen and women serving at the Kaneohe Bay Naval Air Station in Hawaii. Used from 1918 by various branches of the US military, the air station was attacked nine minutes earlier than Pearl Harbor in World War II. This issue with several articles on the arrival of Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES) at the station, including a few photos, as well as news on local military baseball, Easter, etc. GOOD condition. Two hole punches along the left edge. Wrinkling and creasing to the piece. Minor soiling and uneven toning. A few small chips and tears along the edges. Good .
