This issue with short pieces of news on the decision to not remove a statue of Medgar Evers from a park in Fayette, MS (decided by his brother, Mayor Charles Evers); the fight of Calvin Reeves in Chicago to get his name cleared after being arrested on frivolous charges by the Chicago PD; the suspension of prison sentences of five Black youths in North Carolina, who were convicted of burning a KKK hall; news on the SCLC, etc. Politics, sports and fashion also included. GOOD condition. Mailing label on the front cover. General toning, soiling, scuffing and wrinkling. Some scuffing and curling along the extremities. Good .
