Presumed early 1900s. Single sheet, folded into four pages. Roughly four by 6 inches. A handwritten letter from a person in college, mentioning their reciting in 21 of 26 ½ hours of school. The author mentions that their "Sity" (Varsity?) team beat the University of North Dakota 12-0, and in the week previous to the letter written, tied them 0-0. The author gives a brief play-by-play and states they played the hardest game of their lives, recalling a tackle made on them that "an astronomer would five years of his life to have had such a view of the heavens as I had." The author inquires after several young women, mentions partying after a game in Ashland, etc. Letter ends without a signature or name, and may perhaps be incomplete. GOOD condition.
