The entries contain news, poetry, literature, commentary on the Civil War, etc. POOR/FAIR condition. While binding appears original, endpapers are not original. Heavy staining, dampstaining and discoloration to the covers, with some soiling. Minor rippling to the cloth. Heavy scuffing and fraying along the extremities. Heavy toning to the paper in the interior, with scattered dampstaining and foxing throughout. A few pages torn. Very worn copy. Poor .
