Established in 1964, the paper was known for its coverage of the counterculture movement and radical politics, as well as its strong anti-Vietnam War stance. Financial and staffing troubles led to its eventual demise in 1978. This issue with a lengthy piece/interview with Paul Mayer and radical Christianity and the American peace movement; a full page ad for a Small Faces concert; a full page on gay liberation by Lee Heflin "Don't fuck with me because I'm gay;" a piece by Kathryn Paulsen on magic powers of elements and herbs; a full page ad for a Santana show, etc. GOOD condition. Minor general browning. Paper slightly brittle. Minor wrinkling along the extremities. Horizontal fold crease present. Address label present. Good .
