Financial and staffing troubles led to its eventual demise in 1978. This issue with the "Notes of a Dirty Old Man" column by Charles Bukowski (in the classified section) as well as a reply from him to a letter written about a previous one of his columns; an investigation into the police shootout with the SLA (Symbionese Liberation Army) and an alleged cover up of the facts; an interview with labor rights activist Cesar Chavez, etc. GOOD condition. Slightly ex-library with an address label and stamp present. Moderate general browning. Paper slightly brittle. Minor wrinkling along the extremities. Good .
