Included is a poem by Allen Ginsberg "A Dream X August 28, 1958," as well as work by Ray Bremser, Kitty Donovan, Stephen Levine, Bob Lubin, Barbara Moraff and others. The Gaslight Cafe opened in 1958 and served as a venue for Beat poets such as Allen Ginsberg, eventually focusing more on the promotion of folk musicians, including Bob Dylan. FAIR/GOOD condition. Heavy chipping and tearing along the upper edge and fore edge, with minor loss to the rear cover and endpaper. Some tears to the endpapers. Heavy toning to the exterior. Minor soiling. Some creasing Staples rusted, with minor associated staining. Title page with the very upper edge chipped away, and a small chip missing from the lower corner. Fair .
