Inscribed by the author on the inside front cover. 31 pp. A short history of the sonnet form in poetry as originated in France, followed by several poems by Davey. A small press book published by Luther Emanuel Widen under his pseudonym Lew Ney. Widen originally published the magazine/newspaper The Vagabond in Greenwich Village, but was banned after publishing the name of an alleged thief that he came about psychologically (see blog post under the Graphic Arts Collection of the Firestone Library, Princeton). VERY GOOD condition. Small spot of staining to the rear cover. Minor toning and curling along the extremities. Very Good .
