Named after a song by the Dictators, Young, Fast and Scientific was a fanzine issued by Todd Abramson, covering punk, new wave and no wave acts through interviews, reviews and opinion pieces. Abramson is perhaps better known for his work with the influential bar/club Maxwell's, in Hoboken, New Jersey, where he booked music acts throughout the 1980s and 90s. This inaugural issue features pieces on the Ramones, the Dictators, the Sic Fucks, The Real Kids by Bernard Kugel, Loretta Baretta, etc. With photographs by Robert Barry Francos, Loretta Baretta and others. VERY GOOD condition. Mostly minor uneven browning to the wraps, with light wrinkling and creasing. Very minor soiling. Very Good .
