William Tod Helmuth was a 19th century surgeon, being the author of a homeopathic text and advocating homeopathy in practice. (see JAMA Surgery website). GOOD condition. Moderate soiling and scattered spots of staining to the covers. Remains of white substance to the rear cover, as well as traces of a removed label. Covers browned. Extremities scuffed and worn. Covers cracked along the hinge at the second endpaper, with the text block sitting uneven within the binding. Minor toning and light scattered soiling in the interior. Good/No Jacket.
