Fifteenth issue of this magazine/fanzine devoted to punk and new wave. This issue debates the 100 greatest rock and roll films, with a section of reproduced movie posters including 'The Delinquents,' 'Go Johnny Go,' 'The Trip,' 'The Beat Generation,' 'It's a Bikini World,' and others. With sections on the punk scene in Detroit, Cleveland, L.A. San Francisco, and other locations, as well as a piece on fanzines, Sid Vicious and Nancy, Crime, the Romantics, etc. The New York Rocker was started by Alan Betrock in 1976, with Andy Schwartz taking over in 1977. The paper mixed irony with more traditional rock journalism, with a focus on New York based musicians. (Berniere and Primois, p. 218). GOOD condition. General browning to the paper, with heavy browning at the upper corners. Minor soiling. Several small tears along the fore edge. Good .
