Description: New York, Turn Toward Peace, Publisher, 1963. Wraps. Green front wrap. Printed on yellow paper, with no rear green wrap present (if issued). Side stapled. 8 1/2 by 11 inches. 36 pp. A summary of the policies, goals, progress and organizational aspects of the Turn Toward Peace group, with short reports on various aspects of the group's operation, accomplishments and goals. The group itself was unaffiliated with any one group, instead establishing contacts and centers for others to act. Internal fighting in the group in 1963 led to an eventual disbanding and name change (to the World Without War Council). [See the Swarthmore and Bancroft libraries collections for previous information]. GOOD condition. Uneven fading, some wrinkling and creasing to the piece, including a heavy diagonal crease. Minor soiling. A few dark scuffs to the rear cover. Good .
