An apparent piece of German satire, perhaps using a character of a braggart soldier (conjecture based on the mention of war several times throughout the piece, as well as the large numbers and quantities given throughout). The last two pages, under the heading of Monsieur Curtisanos, appears to contain a list of food items, with prices, again with apparent humorous context. Some of the passages, in verse, refer the quantities of beer and wine the author can drink, while others refer to war in Ethiopia and India. GOOD condition. Doodles and math calculations in ink to the front wrap. Minor staining and soiling, with general browning to the paper. Heavy chipping, tearing and tattering to the piece along the extremities, with loss at the lower corner of the front wrap, as well as along the fore edges. Minor staining and general fading in the interior. A few words blotted out in ink on page 15. Good .
