While no provenance can be provided for this book, the Edwin Booth signature does match various online images found of his signature. This book is from the estate of Craig Timberlake, an American stage actor and musician. Primarily a collection of letters by Edwin Booth to his daughter and others, providing insight into his daily life, as well as musings on various topics. With a short section by Edwina Booth Grossmann reminiscing about her father. Edwin Booth was a famous 19th century American actor noted for his Shakespearian roles, as well as his founding of the Player's Club. He was also the brother of John Wilkes Booth. GOOD+ condition. Offsetting and moderate fading to the rear cover, with some fading and faint offsetting to the front. Spine rather faded. Minor scuffing and edgewear. Minor foxing to the endpapers. Good/No Jacket.
