While she mostly advocated for strong domestic training for women, she did also believe in an intellectual education for women as well, if only to help them in their roles as educators (Wikipedia). GOOD condition. Spine very faded, with general uneven fading to the cloth. Minor soiling, scuffing and edgewear. Heavy foxing, spotting and apparent glue staining to the endpapers and inside covers. Text solid with minor scattered staining and soiling. Good/No Jacket.
