The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) was founded in 1920, primarily to protect war protesters, but soon expanded to cover other areas of free speech, including workers' rights and labor, as well as many unpopular cases regarding communism. GOOD condition. Area of offsetting along the lower front cover. Heavy offsetting to the lower rear cover, with a few areas of moderate staining and soiling also to the rear. General fading and minor soiling to the front wrap. Side staples rusted. Interior clean and solid. Good .
