A history of the Civil War, written for a juvenile audience but still providing detailed information on Vicksburg, Chancellorsville, the Confederate northward march, Little Round Top, Cemetery Ridge, Fort Wagner, Chickamauga, Lookout Mountain, etc. GOOD+ condition. Some fading, scuffing and discoloration to the gray illustration on the front cover, with minor general fading, scuffing and soiling to the covers. Some scuffing to the extremities. Spine sunned. Interior clean and solid with some toning to the paper. Previous owner's signature on the first endpaper. Good/No Jacket.
