ALL TEXT IN French. A primarily pictorial history of the French Restoration, including politics, art, fashion, modes of thought etc. drawing on art and material contemporary to the time. GOOD condition. Area of staining at the upper left front cover, with moderate darkening along the extremities. Mostly minor soiling. Heavy scuffing to the extremities and leather, especially at the corners and hinges. Head of spine chipped, with part of the backstrip peeling off. Text block shaken and weak but intact. Text block with toning to the paper and minor scattered soiling. Triangular piece cut from the lower corner of a front endpaper. Good/No Jacket.
