An adventure story based on the life of Simon Kenton, a frontier scout and younger contemporary of Daniel Boone, noted for taking part in several Indian Wars, as well as the War of 1812. POOR jacket on a GOOD book. Several heavy creases to the jacket, with other wrinkles, moderate fading, minor scuffing and soiling present. Front flap MISSING. Minor tearing and moderate to heavy chipping along the jacket extremities. One hinge of the jacket repaired with pinkish cloth tape on the interior. Minor general fading to the covers of the book, a bit heavier to the spine. Minor soiling and scuffing. Some scuffing and bumping along the extremities. Interior solid with general browning to the paper. Minor scattered staining and soiling to the pages and fore edge. Ill.: Howard L. Hastings. Good/Poor.
