Oversized pictorial wraps. 24 pp. A journal mostly devoted to music, with this issue featuring the continuation of an article titled 'Music in America,' by Joseph Bennett, a small article on a new musical instrument-the banjolin, frauds in violin-making, and a short article on the first negro minstrels. With several pages of sheet music including 'The Trout,' arranged by E. Mack and the 'Gobble Duet,' from Mascot. GOOD condition. General darkening and fading to the wraps, with minor soiling. Vertical fold crease to the magazine with some minor creasing and tearing along the extremities. A one inch tear at the center fore edge margin, affecting all pages. Good .
