Perhaps MISSING any endpapers. A look at the life of Mohammed, including a history of Arabia, the influences on him, the religion of Mohammed, the history of Islam[ism] etc. In FAIR condition. Heavy scuffing, fading and some soiling to the marbled paper on the boards, with some chipping and loss along where the leather meets the paper. Heavy bumping and scuffing along the extremities, with the corners rounded and worn. Half inch pieces of the leather missing from the backstrip at the head and foot. A 1 inch piece is torn along the hinge and is almost separated. Front cover rather weak at the hinge, with the rear cover also weak but a little more solid. Endpapers may be missing. Minor writing and doodling in pencil to the inside front and rear covers. Text block solid with a few stray pencil lines in the margins of a few pages. Minor to moderate foxing, soiling and darkening to the pages throughout. Small half moon shaped dampstain in the fore edge margin of a few pages near the rear. Slight musty odor to the book. In FAIR condition. Fair/No Jacket.
