Topics include military affairs in Hopkinton, men of old Nottingham at the Battle of Bunker Hill, early history of the Concord Press, a day at old Kittery, Kearsarge Mountain, etc. Bound in half leather with decoratively tooled leather bearing what appears to be cherubs climbing vinelike plants. Marbled endpapers. In GOOD condition. Moderate scuffing to the covers, with heavier scuffing along the hinges and extremities. Small chip of leather missing from the center of the backstrip. Upper front hinge split. Text clean and solid with general darkening to the pages and a minor dampstain to a few pages in the rear. Good/No Jacket.
