An attempt to trace the origin of grievances, the growth of revolutionary sentiment and the rise of a radical party in the early colonies. In a library jacket (a copy of the title page). EX-LIBRARY in GOOD condition. Usual pockets, pastedowns and stamps present. Jacket in mylar taped to the book. Book appears to be re-bound in blue library cloth. Some soiling and scuffing to the jacket and book. Interior clean and solid with some darkening to the pages. Page 387 torn but intact, although rather creased. Pages 145-156 are missing their lower corners though nothing that affects the text. Good/Good.
