Front flyleaf bears ownership inscription in black ink from the wife of the Second Lieutenant William E. Holz listed on page 120: "Histoire de 323iein Regiment d'artillerie -- Regiment de mon mari -- Wm. E. Holz -- Batterie F. Maria Holz." An unusually superb copy. .
