Tight and nice first edition of this hands-on how-to -- and with unique autograph twist: Tipped to front flyleaf is a fine, heavy stock 5" X 3" card signed by one of Bible's star players from his final (1946) season as University of Texas's head football coach, the year just prior to this book's publication: Hubert "Hub" Bechtol signs large and bold in black fineline, penning "University of Texas / Football 1944-45-46" beneath and dating it 1 August 1980 at upper right; interestingly, Bible died just about nine months before Bechtol signed this. Bechtol (1926-2004) played end for these three seasons; in 1991 he was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. Bible (1891-1980) was the renowned head football coach of Louisiana State University and Texas; elected in 1951 to the College Football Hall of Fame. Laid in is the ideal bookmark: Bechtol's original transmittal envelope. Outstandingly unusual copy. .
