Superb, tight reprint edition of the Limited Editions Club's 1949 edition of Twain's quirky 1889 time travel novel -- this copy featuring unusual autograph addition: In 1978 the television series "Once Upon a Classic" released a Peabody Award-winning adaptation of it, and its two stars each sign fine, matching heavy stock 5" X 3" cards tipped to the front flyleaf: PAUL RUDD (1940-2010) signs hugely in green fineline, adding "Thanx" above; and TOVAH FELDSHUH (born 1952) signs boldly in black ballpoint, dating it 30 March 1979 at upper right. Laid in are both original transmittal envelopes and the appropriate "Sandglass" issue. .
