Interestingly, tipped to front flyleaf is a 4" X 7" "Illinois Central Railroad Register Ticket" from 1961, while front pastedown, rear pastedown and rear flyleaf each bear a 3½" X 2¼" heavy stock membership pass for Arnold Gates (1914-93, noted Lincoln and Civil War scholar) for Rutger University Library's "American History Workshop" (2nd Annual, 3rd Annual and 4th Annual). .
