Patronizing tale about a 6-year-old Indian girl brought to England, meant to show how even those from the most distant colonies can become obediant Brits and god-fearing Christians. "Poor heathen people of India!" it concludes. "We should be sorry for them, and pray that God would send out his light and his truth to lead them to Jesus.." Unusual. .
