New condition, dj jin mylar, a complete and unabridged and fully index text of Campbell's diary with an extensive introduction and explanatory notes. This was a record of the first sailing to China for the newly established Swedish East India Company. There were some 130 ships to the Far East and these established regular relations between Sweden and China. Campbell was a Scot by birth but a naturalized Swedish citizen. Some b/w and color illustrations including a portrait. 3 indices: personal name, geographical and subject. heavily footnoted. New/New.
