Poet-farmer Chaskey was the longtime head of Quail Hill Farm in Amagansett, New York, in eastern Long Island, and is considered "the spiritual father of the community farming movement." His first full-length book, the influential This Common Ground, was published in 2005; this chapbook precedes that book by nearly two decades. Near fine in self-wrappers.
