Introduction providing outline of construction of the Canal. The book is a compendium of historic photographs of the Panama Canal and shipping which used the waterway - steamships, liners, US naval vessels, destroyers, torpedo boats, warships, submarines, locks, spillway, hydro-electric station, canal zone; captions in English and Spanish.
