Book Hardcover , Very Good, Three-quarter leather and cloth-covered boards and marbled endpapers and edges. All four volumes are in very good condition with rubbing at the extremities. The interiors of all four volumes are generally in fine condition. The only real defect in all four volumes is that pages 225-241 have been elided. Numerous full-page engravings, including "Washington Taking Farewell of His Mother (vol. 4)," and three foldout engravings of "Funeral Procession of the Late Duke of Wellington, Nov. 18, 1852", "Great Industrial Exhibition, Dublin, 1853", and "Inauguration of the Crystal Palace, 16th July, 1853".
