Description: Salvation Army? c. 1910. Printed on linen in four colours, for a doll 245 mm. high. A rare unassembled and therefore unused doll, probably issued as a Christmas gift and appearing to show a member of the Salvation Army, in the appropriate colours, with a cross on her chest and carrying a bible. Possibly issued in this form for children to stitch up and fill themselves to form a plump rag doll.
