The trousseau pieces comprise day wear for the ceremony and nightware and include wedding dress, stockings, gloves, underskirt, blouse, nightdress, gloves, shoes, bonnet, corset, handkerchief, etc. Its purpose is unknown but may be for a child for dressing a doll, or as an amusing gift for a prospective bride.
