Advertising this remarkable family of musical prodigies aged between 3 and 13 years old who played a variety of stringed instruments> perhaps the most impressive being the performance of Lorenzo, Sophia and Caroline as a trio for three harps, on a single harp, illustrated here. For all their apparent contemporary popularity the minstrel fairies have been elusive in extensive searches on-line> the only other reference being 2 similar posters held by the Morgan Library and Museum, New York, for performances at Highgate and Rochester in 1849.
