Description: Printed by Goode Bros., 1904. 4to. pp. 37. Sewn without wrappers as issued. Title pages rather spotted, some scattered internal foxing. A rare court daily record which gives a total of 117 offenders listing name, age, trade, magistrates, date of trial, verdict, previous convictions, etc. Many of the columns are blank and a few sentences are marked in pencil. There is a wide variety of offences but mostly of burglary, petty theft, running illegal betting houses, and assault but a few are curious and interesting. Hanry Stallard a 17 year semi-literate old bottle washer pleaded guilty to "Attempting to kill and murder himself." A number of men are listed as "Incorrigible rogue - begging" for which they received 6 - 9 months hard labour,
