Heard at the Bar of the House of Lords on 20th March 1727 the case revolved around the extraction of sand and gravel by the leaseholders specifically against the terms of the lease. An order made the previous year found that their extraction was 'just and reasonable' this action attempted to reverse that decision in the House of Lords. The Respondents' case is located at 4 or 5 locations on the Library Hub> Trinity College, Dublin is the only location listed for the Appellants' case.
