Description: c. 1825? Trade ticket, 92 x 62 mm. mounted on the back of an old print. De la Rue secured his royal warrant to print playing cards in 1831 having established his business in 1821, so it is likely that this trade ticket dates from between those dates as it seems likely that he would have advertised his warrant. De la Rue late printed stamps and banknotes and now produces high security printing technology for countries and currencies around the world.
