This extensive study covers the economic future of the region later to be known as Southern Rhodesia and is accompanied by some of the earliest maps of the region. These comprise: Map of the Rhodesdale Estate [330 x 190 mm.], Map of the Southern Ranching Areas [330 x 430 mm.], Map Showing Mazoe Valley Irrigation Scheme [770 x 510 mm.], Map of Umtali River Valley, showing irrigation proposals [330 x 410 mm.] and Map of Salisbury, Mazoe and Lomagundi Districts showing certain farms valued by Mr. C.D. Wise [495 x 640 mm.].
